Tony Soprano once said,
“‘Remember when’ is the lowest form of conversation.”
Beside his adulterous and criminally violent life in the mob, this quote is my biggest beef with him.
Actually they’re probably tied.
I love looking back. Not only does it help you see how far you’ve come, it often makes you laugh, and reminds you of wonderful memories our decaying minds may have forgotten.
Other than printing photos, which I am practically obligated to endorse (but not officially), Videos like this one help me reminisce and enjoy the history of my own life.
For two and a half years, I lived in Lakeland, Florida. Got myself a college degree, a crisis of faith, and some incredible friendships. It truly was the best of times and the worst of times.
But with editing magic, we see only this here highlight reel, which is by no means exhaustive, but certainly a great set of moments and treasures from 2004 to 2007.
If you don’t know me at all, this may be… underwhelming. But I dunno, maybe you’ll get a kick out of it.
I leave you with a different Tony Soprano quote, one I really do get behind:
“Buy land, AJ, ’cause God ain’t making any more of it”
